This home in Portland’s historic Irvington neighborhood was in need of a whole-home revamp. The previous owners had covered the space in margarine yellow both inside and out. The goal for the interior was to neutralize the space and establish a calm backdrop for textural layers and deeper, high-contrast focal points. This remodel included changes to the interior architecture to increase the size and flow of various rooms.
